Garry Forrester, PGA Professional
To bring your game to the next level or to learn how to accommodate the idiosyncrasies of Scottish links golf, our Director of Golf/Head Instructor, Garry is on hand - a highly experienced, well-respected PGA professional.
Along with 30 years’ experience in the golf industry, Garry brings local knowledge and many years coaching in top golf schools. These include John Jacobs Academies in Hong Kong and The Philippines, and several years at St Andrews Links before choosing to join the team at Kingsbarns. His coaching style is relaxed and fun whilst passing on expertise and knowledge that will only serve to improve ability, confidence, and scores.

Navigating your way round a ‘Links’ golf course traditionally requires weather depending tactics and an array of different shots. Commonly, the location and design of the courses along with the reputation of the elements brings with it different requirements and challenges.
